@davetroy "Democrats must assess their true priorities... and convey them clearly to the public."

This won't happen. The #Democrats have been awful at proactively articulating anything for at least 25 years. It's like they're so afraid to make the wrong decision they don't make any decision until the Republicans force them to react to something.

We are past the point of a Constitutional Crisis, they are ignoring judges rulings left and right. In this case, the planes were supposed to turn back. But the White House circulated a post bragging about them flouting the courts, so it's not any mistake. Impeachment must follow, but we all know it won't.

AP News · Trump administration deports hundreds of migrants, despite judge's order stopping removalBy Nicholas Riccardi

For those saying we just need to wait out the next four years, or we’ll vote trump out in four years …

WTF are you talking about? At the rate Trump and the Republicans are demolishing the foundations of American democracy there won’t be a vote in four years. They’ve only begun shredding the Constitution.

Some #Democrats argue that it’s complicated; that the consequences of party solidarity regarding the recent vote on a ‘continuing resolution’ to keep the government open for business would not be, on balance, worthy of their opposition. Ten Democratic senators to be precise. I VIGOROUSLY DISAGREE! If we’re going to be a true OPPOSITION party, then we need to resist — at every turn, for as long as it takes. Resistance is built on solidarity. If our voters can’t trust us, count on us, to actively resist in a strategic and organized fashion, then we’re gonna lose them AGAIN. Just like we did in the last general election. As grass-roots activists, it’s up to us to insist on better leadership and demand solidarity. There must be a price to pay for centrist obstruction and betrayal. Let’s start with the rogue’s gallery below. #politics #USPol #USPolitics #betrayal #solidarity #DemocraticParty

Today is a good day to spot unserious people.

Yesterday, demanding that #Democrats filibuster the #Republican #ContinuingResolution could be motivated by one of two opposite reasons: 1) pressure the party to unite behind a single tactic; 2) amplify division over the tactics.

Now that the filibuster didn't happen, ripping into Democrats who refused to do it can only be motivated by reason #2. These are not serious people.

Serious people are moving on to the next opportunity to unite us.

@jaykuo Huh. Jeffries told Dems NOT to protest the tRumpo address. The ONLY CORRECT thing would be to boycott totally that address, or to turn their backs and walk out. But jeffries wanted "dignity".

Jeffries does NOT "get it". He merely sees an opportunity to gain influence within dem party.

He spread his ass cheeks to Johnson, and elected to flop in the House, just like rat schumer did in the Senate.

Don't bring strong worded letters to a gunfight.

#GovernmentShutdown resolution passed by Senate.

These 9 #Democrats voted with #Republicans to get it passed:

Catherine Cortez Masto Nev.

Dick Durbin Ill.

John Fetterman Pa.

Kirsten Gillibrand N.Y.

Margaret Wood Hassan N.H.

Gary Peters Mich.

Brian Schatz Hawaii

Charles E. Schumer N.Y.

Jeanne Shaheen N.H.
