Hello front-end.social! I'm Phil, moving here from an instance hosted by my consultancy that we decided to shutter.

I've been making web sites for clients for 2 years on an #astro / #tinacms stack, and am running a Next app for an early stage startup. Between all that and raising a young kid, I don't have much free time.

My crown jewel is https://phils-web-site.net, an ode to the Olde Internete where I try to do my most colorful writing.

I've just moved to a new instance, so I think an #introduction is in order. I write a lot about #comics and comics fandom. My book on #Webcomics was nominated for Eisner Award in 2021. I also do the "Incidental Iconography" column for Jack Kirby Collector and I blog at KleefeldonComics.com.

I've got a day job, too, but you don't want to hear about that.

BurritoZen the username was born on twitter around 2010. It was used by a very drunk mentally unwell late 20 something weird Twitter poster. Until he left to work on his mental health.

After over a decade of working on his mental health, helping others with their mental health , finding a partner and becoming a dad. A bored 40 something year old joined bluesky using his old moniker mainly to post about his journey with sourdough.

Eventually that bored 40 something dude decided to make burritozen an actual burrito character. So he became a sentient burrito shitposter. His constant skeets about buttholes, hating taco bell and just general tomfoolery including his unicorn Whimsy amassed. 3.7k followers and 35k posts.

Now I'm here. Just to make you giggle...about the absurd nature of being human.

Hi, I’m Māris. I live in the Pacific NW (PNW) of the US, near Seattle, WA. I’m cis-het, married and we have a 23 year old son.

Retired from a 30+ year career in software. I’ve worked for defense contractors, but the bulk of my work was in commercial software. I started as a developer and finished my career as an executive leader for engineering and product management, at companies large and small.

Lots of reading these days, as I recover from an injury that’s kept me off my bike. Very slowly trying to restart; it will be a few months before I can get any real mileage going.

My musical taste is quirky. The Chemical Brothers, Morphine, Nils Frahm, Brian Eno, IDLES. No country. Jazz is good, as is Ambient and Techno.

Books, TVs and movies: spies, murders and sci-fi

Beverages: green tea, Negronis, Champagne, Burgundy, Pinot Noir, Spanish reds.

Photography: My favorite art form. Blowing the dust off my DSLR and just picked up a compact mirrorless to spend more time behind the camera.

What's good y'all? My name is Rad No Mad! I'm a psychedelic DJ wizard #vtuber and electronic musician. I'm 32 years old and use any pronouns.

I stream on Twitch and enjoy playing DJ sets with reactive visuals, where I can showcase my music and that of my biggest influences. My favorites genres are glitch hop, psychedelic dub, neurohop, prog rock, vaporwave, and hyperpop. I also like playing games like Deep Rock Galactic and Fortnite, as well as various indie, horror, retro, and party games.

Hey, I’m Riley (Maybe) and since enough has changed in the last year, this is my #introduction 3.0!

To start, I’m maybe Riley because I can’t even settle on good names in RPGs let alone anything legally binding, so this is my way of trying the name on for size. It may change, it may not, stay tuned to find out :P

I’m a trans, femme leaning, non-binary individual. It’s less that I feel firmly female, but more so that I feel not even a slight bit male. Genderqueer or genderfluid may also be appropriate, but I like the NB colors better :P

I’m somewhere on the AuDHD spectrum and overall very shy/introverted. I’m also married to a wonderful partner of 15 years and have 2 cats named Mika and Luna.

My day job is IT with a focus on AV, patching, backup/disaster recovery, and I am also the system admin for my jobs RMM. Currently working on getting better with powershell scripting and SQL.
