I had been testing it for a few days and it reminds me of the olden days of Google. </p><p>Clean UI that gives me results at the top of the page.</p><p>Google has gone overboard with the ads and sponsored results cluttering the interface. Strypey<p>I get really frustrated with the limitations of fediverse search some days. I want to search for whether @user, who I follow (or is me), posted anything with the tag <a href="https://mastodon.nzoss.nz/tags/HashTag" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HashTag</span></a>. Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to program this kind of cross-referencing into the search tools in fediverse apps. Tried a couple of years back and struggled. They deliberately use a basic keyword search rather than second-guessing the user with semantic search. In theory I should like that, but couldn't get on with it. Last year they put in some *basic* semantics - typo correction, etc - and it feels much more usable.
