"Elon Musk’s SpaceX has failed to establish it was a victim of political bias by a California agency that voted to reject expanding its rocket launches in the state. U.S. District Judge Stanley Blumenfeld Jr in Los Angeles said he would dismiss the case because SpaceX had not shown it was harmed by the California Coastal Commission's vote against its plan to expand its rocket launches from the Vandenberg U.S. Space Force Base in Santa Barbara."

Any business that moves to Texas, just so they can avoid paying for healthcare, and avoid paying taxes, is a business I do not want to do business with.

This is not failure of other states. This is failure of people failing to realize these corporations don't give a fuck about you. That is the mindset you should have, because in the rest of the word, people have healthcare, and they pay their taxes, but business still makes profits, and it isn't the end of their world.

California Governor Gavin Newsom sinks to a new low after already having white “supremacist” Charlie Kirk on his podcast. Now it’s Bannon. Trying to appeal to white racists for your 2028 presidential run is about as low and skanky as it gets. DESPERATION. He can invite on who he wants but this is despicable. They won’t vote for you. And Newsom has already said things offensive to some in the trans community on his podcast. #california #gavinnewsom

As a #trans #California resident who personally witnessed #GavinNewsom support same-sex marriage as mayor of San Francisco before it was legalized statewide, I was disgusted by his agreement with Kirk's transphobic views. I wrote to #Newsom and urged him to support the T along with the LGB: funcrunch.medium.com/governor-

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this article about the Bonneville Power Administration's draft decision to leave the California Independent System Operator's (CAISO) market for an Arkansas-based market called the Southwest Power Pool Markets+ (SPP): washingtonstatestandard.com/20

The BPA supplies (mostly) hydropowered electricity to a third of the Pacific Northwest, but also sells its excess capacity to other utilities. The BPA's own studies show fragmenting the West's energy market by switching to SPP will raise rates for local power consumers -- but the BPA prefers Southwest Power Pool because of "governance issues." Which apparently translates to, "not California focused."
