Just learned that all the Western names in PH4 are a lie.
Rika my beloved is Fal, which was probably the closest they could get to "Val" without it reading like Bal or Ball; ibid Sypha Belnades (Fernandez).
Chaz is Rudy... which still feels strangely common and casual sounding in this context.

Final Fantasy 2 is TERRIBLE why am I playing this I still cannot beat the second tier of enemy spawns after over 2 hours of grinding how did this get released even in the NES era how did the REMAKE on GBA 15 years later still do this bad

From a series of voxel art tributes to childhood game nostalgia I made in the 2000s.
As there were no voxel editors yet, I made them by extruding polygons in 3ds Max.

Descent was released 30 years ago on 13th March 1995. While not necessarily remembered as much as other classic games from that time, it became widely regarded as a major milestone in the development of real-time 3D graphics as we know them today.
